Finished Pair

I finished my Bartholomew's Socks this afternoon. The second sock was a lot easier to do than the first.

They look great! What do you think about the toe? I'm finding that the whirlpool toe that I used on my Coriolis socks feels really baggy.

Thanks so much!! The toe is not my favorite. It is a little too pointy (for my feet at least) and looks sort of sloppy in the picture. It seems to fit pretty well though, despite the above.

Carolyn, they look terrific! What yarn did you use? I agree about not loving the whirlpool toe fit. The stitch pattern seems to flow nicely with some designs, though, so I guess it's good to try different ones to see which are your favorite. What's next for you?

Thank you Deborah. This yarn was a Colonial superwash/nylon that I dyed myself.
You are right about the toe bringing out the patterns, colors, even if the fit is strange.

I just started the Bart socks and really like the linen stitch. Yours look great! It took me a few minutes to figure out how to join the cuff, a brain fart I guess.
